Garage Door Keypad Repair and Programming

Depleted Batteries – When the battery is too low, neither your keypad nor remote will work. Before calling a professional for keypad repair services, try replacing the batteries in both your remote and keypad. Every once in a while, we go out on a service call and all that was needed was battery replacements.

Programming Issues – Sometimes, all you need to do is change your keyless entry PIN. You should have a manufacturer’s instruction booklet that explains how to do that. Don’t forget to re-sync the keypad and remote afterward. If you have trouble, our techs will be happy to fix any programming issues.

Keypad Button Issues – If your keypad seems to be functioning, but it won’t allow entry, you may have an issue with one or more buttons. This is a tricky repair, and you’ll need an experienced and knowledgeable technician to make the repair.

Surface Interference – If you have a newly installed keypad, the surface it is mounted on may cause interference. You can test it by removing the panel from the surface, and then testing your PIN. If it works, you may need to insert a piece of wood or rubber grommets between the pad and the surface to provide a buffer. If it still doesn’t work properly, the issue could be internal wiring that will require the attention of a qualified professional.
